MS Flat-top guitar

I recently built two development guitars, one a New World with Brazilian back and sides, the other a Martin Simpson model with Malaysian Blackwood back and sides.  Both feature a flat German spruce soundboard rather than the curved soundboard of my standard models.

The special sound of my standard models is a combination of many factors, in particular the curved soundboard and the unique soundboard bracing, developed over the last twenty years. The two new guitars have orthodox flat soundboards but retain the bracing system. As might be expected, while having my distinctive sound they are a little more mainstream than my standard curved soundboard models. I like them a lot and am building a second New World version.

I am selling the MS version with Malaysian Blackwood and German spruce. It comes in a Hiscox Artist line ivory case.
