1989/90 Model 1 Arch-top guitar

Sam Lawrence is selling her late husband’s Sobell arch-top guitar.  Sam says:

Model 1 Arch-top guitar

My late husband bought this guitar directly from Stefan in 1989/90. It has Indian rosewood back and sides, a carved German spruce soundboard, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge and a brass tailpiece with built in pick-up.

The guitar has rarely been played since 2008. Stefan saw the guitar in 2013 and confirmed it was in excellent condition and has had no repairs. There are two very small dings on the top, one below the sound hole (about 5mm square) and another tiny nick, barely visible (photos available).

It comes in a good quality, strong, hard case. I am based in the South West, UK.

This guitar is built on Stefan’s Model 1 body:
